One is a land of volcanoes, Maya ruins, and absurdly beautiful lakes. The other is all transparent sea, islands that seem made up, and sharks swimming right beside you (okay, sort of). Let the bells ring out in celebration — we’re off to Guatemala and Belize!
On this Sto Gran Viaggio 15-day group adventure, we cross Guatemala and Belize, moving from volcanic peaks to tropical forests before diving into the crystal-clear waters of the Caribbean. The best part? Traveling by local buses, we experience a true road trip in full Sto Gran Tour spirit. In theory, we should survive.
We explore Guatemala’s most iconic places, like the colonial city of Antigua, the legendary Lake Atitlán with its Maya villages, and the pyramids hidden in the jungles of Tikal and Yaxhá. After climbing Acatenango, we sleep in tents at 3,600 meters and at night watch the wild eruptions of Fuego Volcano lighting up the sky. We also walk across the lava fields of Pacaya Volcano, make our way through the jungle to the emerald pools of Semuc Champey, and venture deep into the ATM Cave, a sacred cave for the Maya.
And then comes the perfect finale: Belize, ta-da! Here we say goodbye to our shoes and jump straight into the sea. We spend the last days of this Sto Gran Viaggio in Caye Caulker, an island with no cars and no rush, snorkeling in the Hol Chan Marine Reserve and swimming among corals, turtles, and nurse sharks.
Here’s a quick recap of some of the amazing highlights we’ll experience together:
🍌 Antigua, the most charming colonial city in Central America. 🍌 Acatenango Volcano, to snore above the clouds with a view of erupting Fuego. 🍌 Lake Atitlán, with its markets, panoramas, and traditional villages. 🍌 Semuc Champey, a slice of paradise in the jungle. 🍌 Tikal and Yaxhá, with their Maya pyramids lost in the forest. 🍌 Caye Caulker, the island where time doesn’t exist. 🍌 Hol Chan Marine Reserve, to swim with sharks and giant rays.
We don’t travel just to say “I’ve been there,” but to feel “damn, I’ve changed.” We’ll take you on the most beautiful adventure trip of your life. The one you imagine — and then some. Guatemala and Belize, here we come!

Start the adventure
Day 1
We set off from Italy, and there’s not much more to add there. We land in the evening on our flying contraption and arrive in Guatemala City! Or, if the journey is longer, we’ll land tomorrow morning. In any case, we head to Antigua for the first night. We’re exhausted and incredibly excited, hoping the night passes quickly.

We get lost in Antigua
Day 2
At last, it’s morning! Let’s have a good briefing on what awaits us over the next few days and then head out to get pleasantly lost in the city. We’ll stop at the majestic Iglesia de La Merced and admire the ruins of San José Cathedral. Antigua is an incredible open-air museum.
In the afternoon, we can continue enjoying the city, perhaps exploring the artisan market or the enchanting Casa Santo Domingo. If we’ve managed not to get lost, we’ll meet back in Antigua in the evening for a lovely dinner all together. We’re only just warming up — tomorrow things start to get serious. Off to bed, everyone!

THE HIKE UP ACATENANGO VOLCANO
Day 3
One of the most incredible experiences in all of Guatemala is definitely the Acatenango trek, one of the most fascinating volcanoes in the country at 3,976 meters high. It’s no walk in the park: the climb takes about 6 hours and is to be done only if you’re in good physical shape (you can usually rent equipment on site for an extra fee). During the six-hour hike, we’re accompanied by a guide who’s an expert on volcanoes and lets us enjoy the experience safely. The ascent starts through corn and coffee plantations, then climbs higher and higher through conifer forests, mysterious fog that makes it impossible to see a damn thing, and views that suddenly open up out of nowhere. Our base camp is at 3,600 meters above sea level, above the clouds.
We settle into our tents and get ready for the insane show: the Fuego volcano, just a few kilometers away, erupts at regular intervals. It spews red lava exploding into the black sky, and you feel the earth’s roar deep in your chest. No way anyone’s ever forgetting that night.
Not feeling up for the climb? Totally fine—you can keep exploring Antigua. Then in the afternoon you can head to Pacaya volcano, which you reach with a shorter trek of about two hours. Yeah, basically we’re telling you that if you don’t go up at least one volcano, we’re not going home. It’s way too worth it!

Breathtaking Sunrise and Lake Atitlán
Day 4
Today it’s a 4:00 a.m. wake-up call: headlamps on, and off we go toward the summit. We’re still on Acatenango. The final stretch is tough, but when the sun begins to rise above the clouds, the view is absolutely spectacular. We even manage to stop swearing for a moment. The panorama from nearly 4,000 meters is simply unreal. Breathtaking. We take deep breaths and soak in one of the most incredible moments of the trip. Then it’s back down, a quick descent to the valley and a restorative lunch in Antigua. Which basically means we devour everything in sight to recover from the trek. In the afternoon, we hop on a minibus and head to Lake Atitlán, Guatemala’s legendary volcanic lake. We arrive in Panajachel, a laid-back little town on the water, just in time to enjoy the sunset with a beer in hand. We spend the night here, completely exhausted and ridiculously happy.

THE VILLAGES OF LAKE ATITLÁN
Day 5
Today we set off on a boat tour through the villages dotting the lake. First stop: San Juan La Laguna, small and authentic, filled with murals and workshops where women hand-weave their colorful masterpieces. Then San Marcos La Laguna, a haven for hippies and yogis, but also the perfect place for a dip in the lake’s deep blue waters. Final stop: Santiago Atitlán, where we connect with the traditions of the Tz’utujil Maya, among ritual masks and statues of Maximón, the most enigmatic smoking saint in Central America. Today your Trip Leader will keep you thoroughly entertained with plenty of fascinating explanations. We spend the day exploring, chatting with local artisans, and soaking up the unique atmosphere of these villages. In the evening, we head back to Panajachel.

SEMUC CHAMPEY, A HIDDEN PARADISE
Day 7
Today we hop into a beat-up pickup truck and head down the jungle’s dirt roads to Semuc Champey, one of the most incredible places in Guatemala. We’re driving ourselves! It’s a packed day, so stay focused! We hike up to the viewpoint for a stunning panoramic view over the natural pools. Then we do more than just admire them—we put them to the test, diving clumsily into their emerald waters. Can you imagine how amazing it is to swim among waterfalls? We return to Lanquín. That’s more than enough for one day.

LET'S GO TO FLORES
Day 8
Today a road marathon awaits us: we leave the jungle of Lanquín and head toward Flores, a small colonial island overlooking Lake Petén Itzá. It’s a long journey: seven hours along dirt roads, winding bends, and a few stops to buy tropical fruit from roadside vendors. We arrive in the afternoon, without having thrown up. We’re just in time for a stroll among the pastel-colored houses and an aperitif with a lake view (assuming we didn’t get stuck in traffic, of course). TIKAL AND YAXHÁ: TWO MAYAN CITIES
Day 9
Guess what? Early wake-up call! Grumbling about the alarm, we set off to dive into the most incredible jungle in Guatemala. We’re heading to Tikal! Here, pyramids rise above the trees, howler monkeys make an unbelievable racket, and the trails make us feel tiny in the face of the grandeur of the Maya world. We climb Temple IV, the tallest pyramid, and it takes our breath away: partly from the effort, and partly from the view—above the jungle, it’s just... you have to see it for yourself. In the afternoon, we head to Yaxhá, certainly less well known than Tikal, but incredibly atmospheric. We walk among ruins still partially covered by vegetation and climb the Temple of the Night Jaguar. From here, we take in an incredible sunset over the lake. Very few people know about it, so there are hardly any visitors, and we truly get the feeling of discovering something ancient and secret. After this full immersion in the Maya world, we return to Flores. We have dinner out, maybe by the lakefront, perhaps with an ice-cold michelada, and then it’s off to bed. Tomorrow we change countries. Thank you, Guatemala—what a place you are.

HERE WE ARE, BELIZE
Day 10
We say goodbye to Flores and cross the border into Belize. In about four hours, traveling by minibus and shared taxis, we arrive in San Ignacio, a vibrant little town surrounded by the jungle. We spend the afternoon strolling through the local market, full of stalls selling spices, tropical fruit, and foods scented with the Caribbean. We feast, then get organized for tomorrow’s excursion: the ATM Cave, one of the wildest experiences of the trip.We have dinner together at one of the many local eateries serving typical Belizean dishes, perhaps rice and beans with fresh shrimp, and then it’s time to fully relax. Much needed.

ATM CAVE, ABSOLUTELY AWESOME
Day 11
This is an excursion, but not just any excursion. Today we enter a cave sacred to the Maya (take a look at the extra activities section). To reach the entrance of ATM Cave (Actun Tunichil Muknal), we have to swim across a river. Once inside, it feels like stepping back in time: the route winds through stalactites, underground chambers, and ancient bones. We walk through the water, climb over rocks, and make our way to the Crystal Maiden, a calcified skeleton that is centuries old. If you do not feel like going into the cave, that is absolutely fine. You can stay and explore the town of San Ignacio, and we will all meet up for lunch. After filling up at lunch, we set off again toward the coast. We take a minibus to Belize City, then a water taxi and arrive at Caye Caulker, a small Caribbean island where there is only one motto: take it easy. Here we settle into a guesthouse and end the day with a nice dinner, perhaps with some fresh fish. What a day we have had! Time to relax now.

THE HOL CHAN MARINE RESERVE
Day 12
Today we become one with the sea. We set off by boat for a snorkeling excursion in the Hol Chan Marine Reserve, home to the second-largest coral reef in the world. What will we find there? An unspoiled reef, full of tropical fish and corals in colors you didn’t think existed. Then there’s Shark Ray Alley, where we swim among nurse sharks and giant stingrays that we really hope are harmless. Ah! Oh! There are also seagrass beds where sea turtles are often spotted. Everything here is just so incredible. After hours in the water, we head back—practically with webbed feet—to Caye Caulker to soak in the sunset at The Split: the most beautiful spot on the island!

LAST DAY IN THE CARIBBEAN
Day 13
This morning, everyone’s free! Until it’s time to pack up our backpacks and head back h... well, we don’t even want to say it.We take the water taxi to Belize City. Then, if our flight h...ho... home... is tonight, we board for Milan. If the flight is tomorrow morning, even better! Because we still have time for one more lovely dinner all together and to cry our eyes out. One thing is certain: our journey back begins here. More tears.

GOODBYE CENTRAL AMERICA
Day 14
The flight home started to make it all sink in—the incredible things we had experienced: erupting volcanoes, remote Maya ruins lost in the jungle, sacred lakes, colonial cities, mysterious caves, and the most turquoise sea we had ever seen. We crossed borders, climbed mountains, swam with sharks, and walked where the Maya once lived. Damn, what a life-changing experience was that? It was the trip you imagined—but even more.

WE LAND IN ITALY
Day 15
Sigh. Here we are in Italy. Sigh.
Sigh. Here we are in Italy. Sigh.
Boring but important stuff to know
Deposit and registration
To sign up for the trip, you need to: 🍌 Pay a deposit, which will be shown during the booking process, to confirm your spot. 🍌 The remaining balance must be paid 45 days before departure.
And what about payment methods? 🍌 You can pay by bank transfer. 🍌 You can pay by card. 🍌 You can pay for your trip in up to 12 installments with HeyLight.
We will show you the final cost of the trip, including any extras you select, during the booking process and in your personal area.
🍌Your flight is included in the price, with departure from Milan or Rome. 🍌 You can also depart from other airports — just select them during registration. If you can’t find the airport you want, write to us and we’ll help you. 🍌 There is also a No Flight option. Basically, if you prefer to arrange your own flight, we’ll deduct the airfare from the trip price and you can book your flight yourself. Then we’ll coordinate to meet at the destination. 🍌 Your flight times can be found in your personal area once you have completed your registration. 🍌 And who does the check-in? You can decide! By default, you do it yourself, but if you prefer, we can take care of it for you — just choose this option during registration. 🍌Please read carefully all the FAQs related to the flight at the bottom of this page.
Transport and accommodation
🍌 Transportation: we will travel using local buses, organized private transfers, and taxis. There will not be a minivan and driver at our disposal: this is a road trip, with shared buses alongside local people. So yes, sometimes they can be quite crowded. 🍌 Accommodation: we will stay in hotels and guesthouses in double, triple, and quadruple rooms, with either private or shared bathrooms.
Depending on availability and/or changes on site, alternatives to the proposed accommodations may be used. A double room is never 100% guaranteed. We have created a dedicated FAQ just below.
Luggage and equipment
🍌 You will be allowed one carry-on bag and one small backpack. 🍌 You will find the baggage size and weight limits in your personal area. 🍌 Checked baggage is not included. However, if it is not included in your airfare, you can add it in your personal area. 🍌 You will find the list of equipment to bring for the trip in your personal area.
Extra activities
Optional activities are experiences that are not included in the itinerary, but that you can choose to add to personalize your trip. They’re amazing experiences, but they might not be for everyone—and that’s totally fine! This way, instead of being stuck with an “all-inclusive” package and paying for things you don’t enjoy, you have the freedom to choose.
🍌 You can book them during sign-up or later in your personal area. 🍌 It’s not necessary for the whole group to do the same activities. 🍌 For those who don’t join the optional activities, there is always a free alternative. It’s never an option that takes away from the itinerary, so no one has to miss out on anything. 🍌 When specific equipment is needed for an activity, we’ll let you know.
If you feel excited about any of the optional activities, we recommend booking them as early as possible. Especially if you’re traveling in high season, they tend to sell out very quickly. We do not control ticket sales, so if spots are no longer available, there’s unfortunately nothing we can do. There’s also a dedicated FAQ in the section “You might have questions, and we definitely have answers.” Take a look.
Country entry requirements Meals
🍌 Before signing up for the trip, we recommend checking any entry requirements required by the country. You can do so here on the Viaggiare Sicuri website: https://www.viaggiaresicuri.it/find-country/country/GTM https://www.viaggiaresicuri.it/find-country/country/BLZ 🍌 It will be your responsibility (yes, it’s up to you!) to make sure you meet all entry requirements for the destination country or countries. Sto Gran Tour accepts no responsibility in the event of refusal of entry into the country. If you have any questions at this point, feel free to ask us anything and we’ll be happy to answer! 🍌 Any visa or government tax will be at your expense.
Vaccinations and Health
🍌 There are no mandatory vaccinations required to travel to Guatemala and Belize. 🍌 We’re not doctors! So we can’t hand out medical advice left and right. Call your doctor before you leave so they can recommend any medical precautions or vaccinations you may need.
Meals
🍌 Do you have any food intolerances? 🍌 Do you have any food allergies? 🍌 Are you vegetarian? Vegan? Pastafarian?! Do you only eat foods that start with Z?!?
Nooo problem! Food should never be a limit on your trip. There’s always a solution, whether at a restaurant or at the supermarket.
What's included, and what's not
Included in the trip price
Not included in the trip price
Common fund
What about shared expenses? How do they work? No one likes traveling with stacks of local cash and doing the math on a calculator every night. Don’t worry, we’ll spare you that hassle: when you travel with us, it’s much simpler.
Each participant takes turns paying shared expenses and records them in the SplitUp app, which at the end of the trip splits everything equally among the group. We estimate these costs will be between €150 and €220 for this trip, depending on the number of participants.
🍌 Entrance fees and some visits to the monasteries of Antigua. 🍌 Boat rides for getting around Lake Atitlán. 🍌 Entrance fee and taxi to Semuc Champey (about €20). 🍌 Entrance fees, transfers, and local guide at the Tikal and Yaxhá sites (about €80). 🍌 Taxis and other small local transfers. 🍌 Team Leader expenses.
Pick your extra activities
Customize your itinerary!
Great idea, with us you can. You can tweak every itinerary by adding the extra activities you want to do on the trip. We've tested and approved every single one. So instead of putting up with an "all inclusive" and paying for stuff you don't like, you're free to choose.
You might have questions, we definitely have answers
Deposit, balance and insurance
Here’s how payments work:
🍌 The deposit must be paid at the time of registration to confirm your spot.
🍌 The remaining balance is due 45 days before departure and can be paid directly in your personal area.
🍌 You can pay by bank transfer, card, or in installments. Choose whichever option is most convenient for you.
🍌 We’ll show you the final trip price, including any extras you select, during the registration process, in the confirmation email, and in your personal area.
🍌 Before departure, you can take out cancellation insurance to cover your trip cancellation, provided the reason for cancellation falls within the covered cases listed in the insurance PDF. You can view and download this PDF during the registration process, before confirming your trip.
🍌 Purchasing the cancellation insurance we offer is not mandatory. If you feel it does not meet your needs, you can arrange your own policy, and we’ll still be friends and travel buddies.
🍌 Sto Gran Tour accepts no responsibility if the reason for a participant’s trip cancellation does not fall within the cases covered by the insurance.
How air travel works
🍌 Your flight is always included in the trip price, departing from Milan or Rome depending on the departure date.
🍌 For an additional fee, you can choose a different departure airport, such as Catania, Naples, Bologna, London… it’s up to you. And if you can’t find your airport, just write to us.
🍌 Group members may have different flight schedules depending on airline availability and the order in which participants signed up.
🍌 We’ll share your flight times in your personal area as soon as they’re available.
🍌 Booking for two people does not automatically include seats next to each other on the plane, as this is a paid option. However, you can request and add it through your personal area.
🍌 Unless otherwise stated, the flight booking does not include checked baggage. If you really, really want to add it, well alright then! You can add it through your personal area.
🍌 If you are absent at the airport on the day of departure due to personal unforeseen circumstances, delays or cancellations of connecting flights or other means of transport, you will need to reach the destination independently with another flight at your own expense. We’ll help you find a flight, as long as you buy the first round of beers when you catch up with us.
The option without flights
If you’d prefer to arrange your own flights, no problem! You can select the “flight not included” option when you sign up. We’ll deduct the cost of the flights from the trip price, and that’s it. Please note:
🍌 With the “flight not included” option, airport transfers are not included.
🍌 With the “flight not included” option, internal flights are still covered by us.
🍌 With the “flight not included” option, we ask you to share the flight times you’d like to book so we can confirm whether they are compatible with the rest of the group.
🍌 With the “flight not included” option, before purchasing your flights you must wait until the trip is confirmed. If you buy them before the trip is confirmed, we will not reimburse the airfare portion.
Types of accommodation
Accommodation arrangements are indicated in the “Accommodation and transport” tab, under the section “Boring but important things to know,” which you can find on this page. Depending on the departure date and the trip, the arrangement shown on the website may differ from what is described there. For this reason, you will never see it stated that a specific room type (double, triple, or quadruple) is guaranteed with 100% certainty. This is simply because we often do not have full control over our suppliers’ availability. Also keep in mind that, on a group trip, sharing is part of the travel experience: besides an incredible adventure, you may also end up sharing rooms and bathrooms. Every traveler for themselves? Not really. If having a double room is absolutely essential for you (like, truly non-negotiable), please contact us before departure! That way we can avoid issues, misunderstandings, and headaches for both of us. Sounds fair?
The Sto Gran Team Leader Tour
When you travel with Sto Gran Tour, there’s always a Trip Leader with you. We don’t work with glossy influencers who turn travel into social media content, and we don’t collaborate with people who are just looking for a free trip. Our Trip Leaders are certified guides—experienced, passionate young women and men, as well as licensed tour escorts.
What do they actually do on the trip, you ask?! Well, the Trip Leader coordinates the group throughout the journey, handling logistics, providing ongoing support, and building team spirit—without being your typical tour guide. They are not a nature guide, but they make sure each stage of the trip runs according to plan, as much as possible depending on circumstances and the group’s needs. They share useful tips about the itinerary, help manage schedules, and make it easier to organize each day. Basically, a saint. They’re the go-to person for questions, unexpected issues, and logistical needs. In short: like a super practical Swiss Army knife, always ready and on point.
Group and travel companions
Groups usually range from 3 to 17 travelers, plus a Trip Leader. The exact number depends on the trip. The average age on our trips is usually between 25 and 45, with plenty of exceptions.
Our groups generally include people from all over Italy, and they’re open-minded travelers who love new experiences. You don’t have to be an experienced traveler, and you don’t need to have joined a group trip before. It also doesn’t matter whether you’re traveling solo, with your girlfriend, or with your brother. What really matters is the mindset you bring: the desire and curiosity to explore and experience the world. It’ll be everything you imagine — and then some.
About a month before departure, we’ll open the Wazzzzup group so you can start getting to know the other participants. You’ll find the Sto Gran Gruppo link in your personal area.
We confirm and activate the trip once we have at least 4 to 6 participants. If we don’t reach the minimum number, you can change your departure date for free to the closest available trip, either for the same destination or a different one. Or you can request a full refund. So when will you know whether the trip is confirmed or not? About a month before departure, when we finalize the participant count.
P.S.
Are you cursing us out because you’d love to travel with us, but you think you’re outside the age range? Write to us — maybe we can still make it work and travel together. And in the worst-case scenario, at least you can insult us in person.
Group confirmation
Almost all of our trips are confirmed. For groups that are still awaiting confirmation, we will send you regular updates through your personal area. If we do not reach the minimum number of participants (generally 3), you may change your departure date free of charge to the nearest available departure, either for the same destination or a different one, or receive a full refund. For trips with only one departure date, the "Trip Status" is shown.
How extra activities work
You can personalize your trip with extra activities, which you can choose at the time of booking or later. Please note:
🍌 If an activity is canceled by the provider, you will be refunded.
🍌 Any special equipment required for each activity will be provided on site.
🍌 You can also choose activities after booking and add them from your personal area for an additional €5.
🍌 We cannot guarantee the availability of activities if you add them close to the departure date.
🍌 During peak seasons, such as New Year’s and summer, we cannot guarantee the availability of activities unless you book them well in advance.
🍌 Activity prices may increase at the discretion of the providers.
One more thing! The activities are organized by local providers, and we at Sto Gran Tour are not responsible for changes, availability, or cancellations.
Travel itinerary and changes
Even if you’re joining an organized trip, the spirit is that of a true road trip. Absolutely! It’s a real journey: unexpected events, pleasant unplanned moments along the itinerary, stops, weather-related disruptions, and more. In practice, what does this mean?
🍌 The program, as well as the order of the days, may change.
🍌 Nature is in charge. We do not provide refunds of the amount paid for program changes caused by weather conditions.
🍌 Mechanical issues can happen. We do not provide refunds of the amount paid for program changes caused by mechanical problems (for example, a flat tire, a blown fuse, a broken window, a stolen side mirror, and things like that).
🍌 We will try to make up for travel days or activities missed due to bad weather or issues caused by suppliers, if the group agrees to the new travel solution and only if the Trip Leader considers it feasible.
🍌 The layout/size of the means of transport and accommodations may differ from what is indicated in the travel program due to local availability.
How adaptable do you need to be
A four-star place here might have scratchy towels and a gurgling drain. And a place without even a single star might serve the best dinner of the whole trip. Ratings are local, and so are the standards used to assign them. In practice, this means:
🍌 Cleanliness may sometimes fall short. Let the Tour Leader know and we’ll step in, but don’t expect a polished seaside hotel.
🍌 We work directly with local providers, without middlemen, and that helps us solve a lot of issues. That said, we’re not masters of other people’s time, so do allow for the occasional wait.
Then there are the nights when we stay as guests with local families. And guests really means guests: it’s their home, not tourist accommodation. We ask permission before taking photos, take off our shoes if requested, eat what is served to us, and say thank you.
Good manners and respect are always the foundation of exploring the world!

Imagine yourself in a tent on the side of Acatenango Volcano, at 3,600 meters. You’re completely wiped out after today’s climb—hours of hiking uphill through mud, rocks, and that breathlessness that, at one point, made you question every life choice you’ve ever made. And yet, you’re also incredibly awake. The wind is practically knocking you over, it’s freezing cold outside, but inside this sleeping bag it feels amazing—warm and cozy, with the hot chocolate from dinner still in your stomach and your tent mate snoring softly beside you. Then suddenly: BOOM! A burst of fire shoots into the sky. It’s Fuego Volcano, belching like an angry dragon. You rip open the tent zipper with all the grace of a wild boar, throw on your heavy snowsuit in a flash (over your pajama pants), and jump outside. The others are already there, headlamps on and mouths open, no one saying a word. Right in front of you, the volcano is spitting real fire. Red-black lava and sparks tumble down the mountainside. It makes a sound that simply can’t be described—just like the absolutely wild, unforgettable experience you’ve been living these past few days.
This great Guatemala and Belize adventure is exactly what you imagine—only even more.

Fantastic trip to Vietnam
Back from a fantastic trip to Vietnam with Chiara, a flawless tour leader, always present and ready to talk things through with the group for any decision to be made. Wonderful places, between the chaos of the cities and the quietest, most magical green of nature. This is my third group trip and the first with Sto Gran Tour: really well done, with excellent organization.

Trip to the Lofoten
It was my first group trip and it far exceeded my expectations. Besides the breathtaking landscapes, I have to say everything was organized down to the smallest detail, from the very nice and comfortable accommodation where we stayed to the itinerary and the activities chosen. Our team leader Nic was very well prepared and patient, ready to solve any hiccup and always offering us alternatives on what to do. With a group made up only of women, he managed to create a unique harmony. I recommend everyone travel with StoGranTour! See you on the next trip together ❤️

Trip to Morocco
I left for Morocco at the end of March for my second trip with Stograntour and once again it was an all-round positive experience. The real added value for me is the organization, flawless and never trite in an itinerary that always goes a bit beyond expectations, and the skill of the team leaders: Ilaria was perfect! The group worked really well too, I'm taking home a great memory and I'm already thinking about the next trip!

Sta Gran Cappadocia 🇹🇷
I'm writing this review just back from a fantastic trip to Turkey (Istanbul + Cappadocia), what can I say, I couldn't have asked for better! It wasn't my first time with SGT and, as I'd already seen in the past, the trip definitely lived up to my expectations. A special thanks to our super team leader Marco Rotunno, who made us experience these magical places at their best ✨🫶🏼

Sta Gran Review
The assistance and support I received from the organization before departure were excellent and allowed me to arrive prepared on the first day of this adventure. (Even with a few refunds, everything was clear and simple.) During the trip, the skills and practical abilities of our team leader proved to be the key to making us enjoy the experience to the fullest: from handling the unexpected to organizing the downtime, from helping build the bond between travel companions to supporting each member's individual needs. I'm coming home from this trip very satisfied and sure that, if in the future I choose to take on another similar adventure, "Sto Gran Tour" will definitely be the first travel company I'll consider.

Unforgettable Lapland
A perfect experience from every point of view! A trip lived 100% that met all my expectations! Visiting Lapland means putting yourself to the test, and I can say that without the organization, but above all without the involvement of our leader Alberto, I would have backed out. Alberto balanced every phase of our trip, staying serious while bringing a great spirit of involvement. His presence made all the difference! Every phase of our trip went smoothly, with no issues in timing, transfers or organization. Even for the little hiccups a quick and effective solution was found. I'd choose Sto Gran Tour again for my next trip with my eyes closed.

Thank you Sto Gran Tour!
My experience in Vietnam with Sto Gran Tour turned out to be magical. I loved every second of our trip and appreciated the organization and the attention to detail. The difference was certainly also made by Giulia, our team leader, from whom I learned so much: right from the start she proved very professional and knowledgeable. I'd do it again a thousand times. Thank you Sto Gran Tour!

Sto Gran Kenya
My first solo trip, and I couldn't have had a better guide! The legendary Cruz in the Bush took me among lions, giant animals, breathtaking sunsets and ocean waves. He knows every corner of Kenya, almost as if it were his home. If you need someone to rely on, trust him. There's never a shortage of laughs, but I won't spoil anything else: meet him in person and you won't regret it.

Unique experiences
I've traveled with StoGranTour three times, visiting South Africa, Iceland and Morocco. On all three trips I met extremely well-prepared and knowledgeable guides, with a truly impeccable wealth of knowledge about the land, the flora and the local cultures. I warmly recommend traveling with them to anyone who wants to live a unique experience, thanks to itineraries and experiences planned down to the smallest detail and to fantastic tour leaders.

10 fantastic days in India
This was my fourth experience with Sto Gran Tour and once again I came back truly enthusiastic. A special thanks goes to our guide Chiara, a precise young woman, attentive to everyone's needs, reliable and always available, who accompanied us with professionalism, great passion and friendliness. The tour was organized impeccably: well-studied itineraries, perfect timing and a management of the trip that let us enjoy every moment without worries. Sta Gran Lapland
Second trip with Sto Gran Tour and once again my expectations weren't let down! Thanks to a great group, a great team leader (Alberto) and an enchanted Lapland, even the -30° and the little mishaps turned into memories and stories to laugh about. The experiences on offer were all authentic and completely out of the comfort zone, which in my opinion is what you look for in a trip like this, a trip I'll always carry in my heart while waiting for the next one 💝

An exceptional first experience
An unforgettable experience in Vietnam: even though I left on my own, I immediately felt at ease with all the other participants (18 people). Very beautiful places, excellent organization, even considering that three days had to be rescheduled because of a typhoon that hit the central part of the country. Several bus transfers, some of them hours long, due to the shape of Vietnam itself, but we knew about it before departure. Team leader Roberto: a great person and an excellent professional. Happy I took part, I'd leave again tomorrow.

Lapland, hunting for the northern lights
I did the trip to Lapland organized by Sto Gran Tour (Dec–Jan) and the experience was excellent from every point of view. The itinerary was carefully planned: well-spread activities, zero downtime and the chance to truly live the essence of Lapland. From the northern lights to the husky excursions, every moment was handled with professionalism and care. Federico, our coordinator, was very knowledgeable, helpful and always ready to share fun facts about the area. I also really appreciated the punctuality and clarity of the organization: transfers, excursions and equipment always perfect. It's a trip I'd recommend to anyone who wants to experience Lapland without stress, with the reassurance of a serious organization and a level of care that really makes the difference. Sto Gran Tour passes with flying colors: an unforgettable experience.

Madeira with Marco
It's my second trip with StoGranTour and once again I was satisfied. I found the organization punctual and well structured, with clear directions and the peace of mind of being able to rely on the people in charge. My compliments go to our team leader, Marco Rotunno, who contributed a lot to the success of these eight days. He was engaging but never intrusive, kind, funny and always available, attentive to everyone's needs. An experience I recommend to those who love trekking and active holidays and, above all, to those who want to let themselves be surprised by a landscape, the beauty of a sunrise or a starry sky.

Hakuna Matata!!!
Exciting trip to Kenya! Andrea made us live the "safari" to the fullest, cheerfully carting us from one animal to the next (he even knew the exact number of hairs on their bu...). Almost everything worked and even the hiccups were handled like a pro. Fantastic group, as only happens on unforgettable trips.

Ring Road in Iceland
The itinerary let us discover incredible and very different landscapes, alternating waterfalls, glaciers, volcanoes, black beaches, small villages and scenery that seems to belong to another planet. The added value was the group and our coordinator Nicola Ferrucci, a real expert and in love with Iceland. Thanks to him we had unforgettable experiences and visited places off the most touristy spots… he told us legends, curiosities and anecdotes that only someone passionate who knows the place perfectly can know.

Best experience ever
One of the best experiences of my life! I've done plenty of group trips, but this one beat them in every way! A team leader (Cate) full of enthusiasm and passion, perfect organization and better accommodation than many others! Not to mention all the extras. Thank you, Sto Gran Tour really is a great blast, but thanks above all to our Great Team Leader 🍌

A truly memorable first trip to Japan
I joined the trip with my partner and it was our first time in Asia. The experience went beyond expectations. The itinerary was carefully planned, and credit also goes to our tour leader, Michele, who enriched every stop with clear explanations and his enthusiasm for Japanese culture. The route offered a really pleasant balance between cultural visits, discovering the local food and moments immersed in nature. The group we shared the trip with was a nice surprise too: curious, engaged people with a genuine desire to enjoy every moment. All in all, an experience I'd absolutely recommend to anyone who wants a first introduction to Japan that's well structured and engaging at the same time!

Fuerteventura in November with Bibi!!!
The tour was absolutely positive and well organized, the itinerary complete and balanced, also taking winds and tides into account. Every day had something special: a sunset, a hidden spot, a fun fact about the place... Our team leader Bibi was simply fantastic. The fact that she has lived in Fuerte for a while was certainly a big plus: it let us experience the island authentically, with a few surprising unplanned moments too. At the same time she was very professional despite being "at home", which is not a given and was much appreciated. We felt Fuerteventura a little more ours thanks to her too, as she took us by the hand to every place with sensitivity and friendliness.

Scotland tour, August '26
It lets you drive all over Scotland and its gorgeous islands, focusing on its natural wonders, which you enjoy through scenic treks: the right balance between effort and views, doable for everyone. Yes, it will rain and it will be fantastic. Our tour leader Alberto was attentive to everyone's needs, balancing the sights of the towns we visited, Edinburgh above all, with the beauty of the land and the right dose of lightness, alternating effort and breaks to recharge.

Namibia with Federica :)
I joined a trip to Namibia with Federica at the end of April 2026; besides her flawless organization, I want to praise her excellent preparation and her passion, which made this trip unforgettable. Very happy with the group of people I had the pleasure of meeting too! It was a rich trip in many ways, and what can I say about Namibia, it's undoubtedly a wonderful place!

The best trip I've ever...
The best trip I've ever taken. Not only for the place, which is breathtaking, but for the group and our guide, Roberta, Bibi to her friends. Yes, friends, because on this trip a fantastic synergy is created, thanks not only to the personality of each participant but also to Bibi's ability to involve everyone. Bibi was an amazing guide, she looked into everything, from the restaurant to every single grain of lava, so that we could experience Iceland to the fullest, passing on her enthusiasm and sensing, in every single moment, the mood of the group and the needs of each of us.

Trip to Morocco 🇲🇦
My first trip with Stograntour couldn't have gone better! I was lucky enough to live a very intimate experience, traveling with a tiny group of wonderful people. Morocco is marvelous and gave us intense emotions. The itinerary was well structured: we went from snowy mountains to the desert, crossed hills of argan trees to reach the immense ocean, and then ended up in the chaos, but also the chill, among the rooftops and gardens of Marrakech. Along the way we met fantastic people. In particular, I won't forget Jawad's welcome and generosity and the beautiful experience at his home. We were guided flawlessly by Rob, a perfect team leader: professional and passionate, but above all a true travel companion. Always smiling and helpful, sensitive and attentive. Thanks to everyone, and see you on the next adventure!

If you're thinking about it, do it!
A wonderful experience, cleverly divided into daily goals; I never imagined I could visit so many spectacular places in a single day despite the distances. Our guide Sara was marvelous, super prepared and ready to solve any problem. I recommend this experience to those traveling solo too. The places we rested in were excellent as well, both for comfort and for their position to see the aurora.

Japan on the rails
This had been my dream trip since I was a child, so I left with high expectations… but it still managed to exceed them. I chose StoGranTour because it seemed the tour most in line with my way of traveling, and it turned out to be the right choice. The organization was excellent: every day had a well-structured program, with the chance to make small changes based on the group's needs. Plus, at the end of the activities, we always had some free time to explore on our own. The itinerary was carefully planned, but the real added value was our guide, Michele. With his passion and enthusiasm for Japanese culture, he made every visit interesting and never heavy. His explanations were clear and full of fun facts, some tied to the world of anime and video games, creating original connections with what we were seeing. We also really appreciated his choice of restaurants: he had us try excellent food in authentic places we would hardly have found on our own. Another thing that struck me positively was the group: on these trips you never know who you'll end up sharing the experience with, but I got along really well, which made everything even more enjoyable.
