Tired of the usual Easter routine?
Chocolate eggs (good ones, of course), lunch with the family, and the same old day trip?
Come on, this year let’s do something more memorable: a beautiful trip to places you’ve never seen before. Or maybe you’ve already been there, but you haven’t yet had the chance to experience them to the fullest with Sto Gran Tour and our incredible itineraries.
In this article, we’re highlighting 3 in particular: Japan, Norway, and Iceland.

But why Japan?
Well, for lots of reasons!
First of all, it’s an extraordinarily beautiful country: it never stops amazing us every time we visit it during our 13-day group trip to Japan.
From futuristic metropolises like Tokyo, where towering skyscrapers rise into the sky and neon signs light up the night like an amusement park, to ancient historic cities like Kyoto, immersed in peace and tranquility, passing through the breathtaking mountain landscapes of Mount Fuji and the wild coastlines of Hokkaido, Japan has something to offer everyone.
Secondly, Japanese culture is absolutely incredible, and it’s hard to imagine if you’ve never had the chance to experience it: ancient traditions such as the tea ceremony or the art of bonsai. And then there’s all that delicious food: sushi, ramen, takoyaki...
Your mouth is watering already, isn’t it? Japanese cuisine is just so good...
Third, during Easter season in Japan, the cherry trees are in bloom: Hanami time!
Parks and gardens are transformed into a sea of pink and white petals, a palette of colors that dazzles and enchants. Beneath the flower-laden branches, contagious joy takes over: picnics with colorful bento boxes, laughter, music, and sake flowing freely.
Hanami is a collective ritual, an opportunity to enjoy the fleeting beauty of nature and celebrate life. It’s a bit like a great spring festival, where everyone comes together to unplug from routine and immerse themselves in a magical atmosphere.
Norway like you’ve never seen it before
Have you ever thought about going to Norway for Easter?
And not just anywhere in Norway: to the Lofoten Islands!
We explore them far and wide on an awesome 8-day itinerary. We’ll travel along the incredibly scenic E10 road, where every turn is a wow moment. And we’ll visit a whole bunch of spectacular places.
There’s Reine, for example, a stunning little village and the only place on the trip you’ll probably be able to pronounce without twisting your tongue. Then come Hamnøy, Å, Henningsvær, and other truly picturesque spots.
And then there’s the main highlight of the trip: the hunt for the Northern Lights.
Imagine being all alone, surrounded by the silence of the snow. You look up and... BAM! The sky lights up with a dance of colors that would put even the wildest rave to shame.
But what is this magic?
Simply put, it’s the result of a cosmic outburst from the Sun. Our dear star occasionally goes a little wild and sends charged particles crashing into Earth, creating a spectacular explosion of color across the sky.
Green, red, purple, yellow... the shades are endless, and every aurora is unique and unrepeatable.

The last suggestion for an unforgettable and truly offbeat Easter is Iceland.
You know it, right? That island in the middle of the North Atlantic full of glaciers, volcanoes, geysers, and freezing cold?
Amazing!
Here’s what we promise if you join us on our one-week group trip to Iceland.
The Northern Lights
Yes, we know, we already mentioned them in the previous section, but something this spectacular and unique deserves a place of honor here too.
The Blue Lagoon
A fairytale place, a huge geothermal spa surrounded by ice where, once you see it, you’ll discover just how many shades of blue and turquoise exist. The perfect place to relax and enjoy some well-deserved downtime, maybe with a beer in hand.
Ahhhhhh.
The Ice Caves
Let’s just say this: imagine blue ice caves, but the kind of blue you’d see in a fantasy movie, stretching out into tunnels and forming an ever-changing series of paths. Yes, because the Ice Caves are constantly changing shape, so if you see them one way today, you’ll see them differently tomorrow!
A whole lot of geysers
Jets of hot water bursting out everywhere at regular intervals. Iceland is absolutely packed with geysers — it’s practically their homeland.
The black beach
A spectacle created by the volcanic activity that makes Iceland so distinctive. It’s incredible — when you see it in person, your jaw will drop.
