Safari Sto Gran Tour

Tour operator? Who, us?!

Traveling is important. We believe it should almost be considered like military service: mandatory before entering society as an adult! And yet, those who create trips and hope others will follow them around the world have often created the wrong image—one of numbers and merchandise.

We are not interested in changing the idea of organized travel—quite the opposite. Nor do we believe that tour operators lack the same passion we have—far from it. What really matters to us is sharing a passion for true adventure travel: the kind that begins within us, within every traveler, and then takes us around the world.

For this reason, calling ourselves a "tour operator" was not enough. As we mentioned in the first article on this blog (you can find it here), it took us a long time to define who we are. We are certainly not just a tour operator, and not fitting into one precise definition is exciting and fun.

We are a Travel BOOM Factory.

What we create are not packages, but projects. We start with a goal and the desire to achieve it. If no one is organizing expeditions in Sri Lanka by tuk-tuk, that does not mean it is not the coolest thing to do. Sleeping in a tent in the middle of lion country is fun, traveling around the world in 20 days is a thrill. We do a lot of amazing things.

To do things our way, we had to cut out the middlemen, take stock, and rely on our own idea of travel. Before creating a new project, we go exploring; once we understand the spirit of a place, we try to bring the pieces together and draw the borders, paint new maps, stitch together fabrics of stories, and weave life experiences.

Our experiences are for a discerning few, yet suitable for everyone: from those who already know how to get around to those who have never even taken a flight. We have also chosen to travel without hand-holding: our guides work to make sure everything is perfect—and safe—but you will always be the protagonist.
